Keren James

Jordan Barela is an Associate Financial Advisor with The Rikoon Group and is passionate about helping his fellow New Mexicans achieve their goals and objectives through financial planning, investment management and wealth building strategies. Jordan also enjoys educating younger generations about the importance and power of financial planning to help ensure they are on track for retirement and other financial goals. He is excited about the opportunity to help clients make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial success.

Jordan worked in the financial industry following college before joining The Rikoon Group. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from The University of New Mexico, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New Mexico Highlands University. He holds Series 7, Series 66, and New Mexico life and health insurance licenses.

Born and raised in Santa Fe, Jordan decided to move back home in 2022 after spending nearly 10 years living in Albuquerque. He and his wife Angela are happy to be home which allows him to be closer to his community, friends and family. In his spare time, Jordan enjoys various sports such as football, basketball, volleyball, and golf. Additionally, he enjoys cooking, spending time with friends and family, and traveling to new places.
